Mobile Nuclear Services - Equipment

Our nuclear camera, the maiCAM-180(mSPECT), came into existence in 2006. It is the first mobile nuclear camera created by Mid-Atlantic Imaging Services, Inc.

The maiCAM-180(mSPECT) is unique in many different ways: Among other things, the camera itself is only 30"X56". Because of this, the camera can fit through doorways and entrances and exits.

A 500lb patient weight limit, being validated by John's Hopkins' University, and having a scan time of 6-8min are a few other parts of the maiCAM-180(mSPECT) that make it truly special and unique.

DDS has a whole fleet of Sprinter vans and cameras that go throughout the southeast, providing service to a growing number of very satisfied family physicians, cardiologist, internal medicine doctors and hospitals.

One of the most amazing aspects of DDS, is that we have the ability to give you REMOTE REVIEW ACCESS. This is a very desired computer system that comes standard with our services.

Remote Review Access allows the patient's images to be immediately viewed by the  reading or referring physician - even before the patient leaves the facility.
